Her campaign says she will support a statewide vote to overturn Oklahoma’s abortion ban and put abortion access in the state constitution. The ban has no exception for rape or incest. On Sept. 24, 2026, Planned Parenthood’s political arm endorsed her for governor.
On Feb. 28, 2023, she voted no on House Bill 2177. That bill would have banned puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and gender surgeries for minors. She said lawmakers should not decide who can get which procedure. The House passed it. It did not become law. In June 2026 she wrote that she has voted against every bill she saw as anti-LGBTQ. Her campaign bio says she fought “attacks on trans kids.” In February 2026 she asked why lawmakers were “targeting these children” and their families. Vote Smart also lists no votes on teaching gender identity in school (House Bill 2546, 2023) and on school restrooms matching sex at birth (Senate Bill 615, 2022). On May 6, 2026, Vote Smart lists her as not voting on Senate Bill 904. That bill barred public money for gender procedures. A missed vote is not a no vote.
Her campaign says she fought a plan to require Bible lessons in public schools. She wants to end the tax credit families use for private school. She wants free breakfast and lunch in every public school, and a higher minimum wage. She opposes more income-tax cuts, which she says mostly help the wealthy.
